We wish all our followers a relaxed Sunday before christmas!
Greetings from Penang
abandoned or in the middle of the action ... We have testet a lot already. Touristic/untouristic. Believe us.
Yes, and that's again the reason why you haven´t heard of us for so long. The job as a beach, party tester and a tour guide was really time-consuming. Each variant had to be checked. This all is also Thailand!
Whether at the east or west coast. In Krabi or on the islands of Ko Phi Phi, Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and... So many small islands more ... ..! Yes, which one is still missing?..... For example, Ko Tao ...! There we dropped out of sight again, but literally by having Olli`s birthday gift certifacate redeemed. The diving certificate (OWD) we need in the following next countries. Stressy? (-; ….Yes! and the next family visit is already waiting in Malaysia ... Well then ... We have a tight schedule !!!
Let's ride to Kuala Lumpur!

Thailand your beaches …!

Where is a good place to relax? Defenetly in Thailand at the beach „smile“-Emoticon By the way. Yes we are still driving arround in the country... still ...
Whether with friends or family, in front of karst rocks or coconut groves, on sandy, stony or coral beaches. Alone and
to exist here. More on this later…. Until now we drove nearly 3000km in last three weeks through the country and had a family visit with dissolute hotel luxury (see title picture) and have again completely forgotten the time.
That my family has visited us for the first time on our trip is one of the really big surprises that I (Olli) would never have thought to become true. Sorry folks, after this we were really offline!
Petrona Twin Towers, Glass mosque, Camaron Highlands, Langkawi, beaches on the East Coast, .... In the meanwhile, we did a reasonably large Malaysia round- (road-) trip. Between forest and oil palm plantations the good roads made it quite comfortably with a hired car to travel through the country. Oh maaaaan, driving a car is pure luxury!
Once again return to the human factor .... We had after 1 hours !!! a new home in Malaysia for the rest of our life they told us. It has never happened so fast to us. Thanks to Auzani and the "Happy Family" who have just invited us (dirty, unknown bikers) from the street (imagine this in germany...). Couchsurfing de Luxe !!!! What a warm welcome in the country! The same goes to Zamrain where we can simply stay in his house here in Penang and sort out our things at the moment. Amazing! Thank you all for this incredible hospitality and integration, again in a muslim country on our journey, in these days....
Greetings from Penang

At home in Malaysia

New surprise country on the agenda…. Not because it's so wild and undeveloped. No! Human events in recent weeks made the difference. From the state of technological development Thailand and Malaysia may somehow felt the same, but after a short time we recognized to be more part of something rather than just

-bikes cleaned (since a loooong time) before starting to work
-full 6.000 km service step by step after the handbook (Including engine oil change)
-fork oil changed after 40,000 kilometers for the first time
-rear wheel damper changed (Tim)
-changed broken spoke rear wheel (Tim)
-shock absorber changed between Tim and Lilly. Tims was too low (gas loss), but still enough for Coco’s lower seating position
-repaired decomposed panniers due to falls in Cambodia, form has been restored, lost rivets replaced with screws
-panniers now with edge protection (maybe it safes us from a few dents in the future...)
-Scottoiler new installed,
-changed old batteries against new ones
-batterycase adapted (cutting and welding)
-tank (Tim) finally soldered reasonable
-frame (Tim + Lilly) rewelded again
-screws of the rack (Tim) replaced with larger diameter
-pannier rack (Tim) fixed with additional strut
-installing 2 temperature sensor new for engine oil and rewire it
-changed main bulb (Tim)
-changed spark plug (Tim)
-pannier rack and luggage holder (Tim) newly sanded, primed and painted
-screwed mirror (Lilly) after broken internal thread
- front sprocket (Lilly) changed
- airbox cleaned (Tim) to deep river crossing in Cambodia and Laos
- dirty carburetor (Tim) completely dismantled, partially renewed with new bolts and gaskets, readjusted
- leaky neutral switch (Lilly) sealed and rewired after demolition
- saddel (Lilly) recovered

Now some work on our equipment (2 years left its mark on it):
-helmets were disassembled and the inlets washed, after all these dust and (fear)sweat from Nepal, India, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia in the washing machine
-tankbags zipper exchanged at both bag because no longer closeable
motorbike boots have been sewn and Coco's resoled (there was no longer the sole under it, now everybody knows how Coco brakes (-;....)
-communication headset (Coco) repaired
-both motorbike trousers were sewn and as well a lot of clothes with holes in it

On top some new innovations have been made:
-the panniers are painted in black and equipped now with a new losgezogen logo (new stickers of IRC tire who sponsored us 2 new tires, and Scottoiler who replacedour old ones as well)
-created a sketch for the form of 4x tank bags from scratch and a thai tailor with the right machine sewed it ( It took him 1 full day of work by understanding, adjusting what we want, because it was the first and last time that somebody wants that special wish we think (by the way it had brought the view of the thai tailor on a new level, because he understand that german women can sew as well….(-;).
- fender changed against enduro / cross fender (higher) (according to the latest off road trip in Cambodia (cardamon mountains), when we we got stopped on a dirt track because the mud stuck under our low fenders which prevents the wheels from turning.

In addition to everything Olli has read at least 1 book, we had a great time with so many people in and around Buriram, handle some paperwork+work in Germany (yes we have a life back at home!), Coco did a bit of web design to recharge our travel budget, between we did a little bit of dog raising (we miss you Ragusa !!!), killed 1.000.000 mosquitos and all the rest of the things we already forgot.

Thanks to Anne Patrizius who have shown us this wonderful place, thanks to Tanuk the owner of the quietest homestay and the most freedom at place on our whole trip so far, thanks to the Buriram Riders with Mark (a great guy) who allowed us to use his workshop and helped me with certain things. Thanks to all the friendly people, shopkeepers in Buriram who reopened again for the "crazy“ farangs, 5 minutes after closing time, because we had again forgotten e.g. 10x M4 bolts and nuts.

Since a few days we are now back on the road, which was also an eventful time .... We camped in the woods and in front of a temple with monks who were super friendly. We know again how it feels to travel. Yesterday we extended the visa for additional 30 days, so that we once in a while can make a little bit of holiday now, here in Thailand. Should be possible we have heard.(-; So happy to be on the road again!

Tim und Lilly 2.0 und was passierte in Buriram…

After weeks of repairing our bikes and all kinds of parts of our equipment in Buriram, which suffered at least on our Laos, Cambodia loop a lot, we are back on the road since some days. Who ever thought a motorbike trip with our old horses is just a „luxury-laid-back-doing-nothing-and-a-non-stopping-riding-adventure-dream" has to understand what has to be done between, to keep it going on. For shure it will be easier with the right budget and let repair the things from someone else or if we would have started with brand new bikes which we both don't have. But it will be half the adventure or fun and we wouldn´t have met so many amazing people.
So there is no mechanic or service personnel waiting for us. The job has to be done nearly completely by ourselves. Otherwise the dream would have been over 20 countries before.(-; Besides of repairing, we tried to improve and invent new things for the bike and gear which feels like going on our nerves for decades now. Things which we always wanted to change, if we only had the time for it…. In Buriram we took ourselves the period. Here we wanted to list all the things we still have in memory, because a lot of people just don't understand what the heck are these guys did so long at one place. What does "repairing" mean in general for them. So here is the long summary:
needed to reach your "daily planned destination" (a lot of times we don´t have that to be honest (-;). Decide by chance and you will often be rewarded by a big smile, food, a interesting discussion or a wonderful butterfly out there. For free! Life can be simple, but so beautiful.

Happy to be on the road

There are still a lot of options to camp wild in the country, when you keep your eyes open or simply not take the shortest way. It helps to do some more curves and turns which are actually
They both are already built in and oiling our chains now with the appropriately supplied red "High Temperature Scottoil" (application range from 20 ° to 40 °) Yeees we are in Asia (-;.
By the way, Tim and Lilly are scratching already with the hooves and are as happy as we are, that once the typhoon in South-East Asia dissapears, we are ready to go.

Thanks to the Scottoiler team for the great support.

Scottoiler ...

Jupiiiii ... .. Just before our re-start here in Buriram we have received from Scottoiler 2 new sets of automatic chain lubrication systems (V-system version). When driving thousands of kilometers with chain drive, it is much more convenient if the lubrication runs automaticly and on top increases the service life of the chain. We have already enough of maintenance to do and a refill after several thousand of kilometer with oil is much more relaxed than lubricate every few hundred kilometers by crawling under the full packed bike.

Lucky for us...

Thanks for the 2 brand new tires and great support from IRC Tire Thailand at the Buriram Bike fest (Chiang International Circuit). We got TRAILS 120/80/18 GP-22R for the back and 3.00-21 51P for the front wheel. Awesome! It was a great pleasure for us to meet the team of IRC Tire Thailand. Losgezogen crew is getting
raced against other bikes with Lilly. Now our bikes have to watch out! The motto in the garage of our friend marc is simple: " Cut, cut make new ;-) " Why use a front brake? Or an airbox? Thai rules and laws .

Laos = Landscape- and an enduro off-road dream!

Entlang am Mekong auf den unbefestigten Straßen von Laos. Ein Landschafts- und Enduro Offroadtraum. Die XT 600 zurück in ihren natürlichen Lebensraum...
Besides changing many worn parts (rear brake disc, wheel bearings, etc.) brought by Coco's mom to Vietnam and found their way into the XT´s now, we come to the welding part. Four-times frame breakage at Tim!!! )-: Last time fixed in Nepal was again broken Let's see if splinted with structural steel now keeps better ^^. More was not to be found here. ...... ..Lillys Steel rack was broken several times as well, ... ect. All these parts are now strengthened and for the first time much more stable since our departure. We we will see how they look in 5.000 km 2 years ago. In Germany the frame itself would surely be thrown away, but in Laos it is as good as new (- :.
So now we are "back on the road agian!" Currently we do a small detour to the north (Luang Prabang) before we turn to southern Laos and Cambodia.

We have once again repaired for over a week, (thanks again to "Rock the world“ which have supported us) because there were a lot of things to do. So every working step costs so much power .... and by the way cold Beer Lao helps only partially to cool down (-;. …

by a lively, hustle and bustle population (especially in relation to Laos…), with their colorful markets in large cities and on the water (floating markets). With thousands of kilometers of coastline with white beaches we are enjoying holidays along the way.... Yeaaah what kind of luxury to stay in a hotel, which deserve the name and recover after a long sightseeing tour. Traveling looks for the moment sooooo different. Nevertheless we are looking forward to see Tim and Lilly again who are waiting hopefully for new adventures patiently in Laos.

Good Morning Vietnam…
We dived into Vietnam (look at the picture) as backpackers, because Tim and Lilly are officially not allowed to enter. Over 2 weeks we are three of us (with Cocos Mum) traveling together the winding paths and tunnels of the dark past and of course as well the colorful, flourishing present of the country. Today's image of Vietnam is characterized
2 months ago. Many people with whom we were in contact need urgent help at the moment. Not only Kathmandu and the climbers at Mount Everest Base Camp are fighting. Situation is much worse, about 70 km from the capital in the areas near to the epicenter like Gorkha. There are no Youtube videos, Twitter messages and live Interviews from that region.
A small village that lays in the middle of this area and a two-day walk from any drive-able road is called Barpak. Here are up to 80% of the houses destroyed by the earthquake. It's cold, people are injured, still buried, homeless and without food supply. This region absolutely not in the focus. It will therefore take much longer to bring there the needed help. At the moment all international organisations (Red Cross, Medecins Sans Frontieres, ....) have problems to reach the country (due to the large-scale destruction of infrastructure).
Our Dutch friend Axel Honselhaar has organized with his wife in this village already 20 years ago medical care. He knows the area and people at place, speaks the language and visited them regularly. He lives in Goa since 20 years.
Facebook: Axel Honselaar: https://www.facebook.com/axel.honselaar
By chance, he is currently at site and this time they are trying with their own resources and donations to bring material in the mountains for urgent emergency aid.
Today he will make the first purchases and bring them in the next few days by himself to Barpak and clarify further needs.
Those who would like to donate for the victims of this incredible natural disaster can be sure that here his money directly reaches where it really needed. The poorest of the poor. Please send the donation to the posted Axel bank addresses
https://www.facebook.com/axel.honselaar/posts/445442742285243
or via Paypal directly with the email address (his wife who is doing the administration). joycevandenboom@sapo.pt
Many small donations can help and make it possible to give this village a first supply: protection against weather by tents and blankets, food, medicines, first wound supplies, ect.
Thank you Axel for your great help.

Emergency assistance for Nepal,

So we not giving up…. Now with our new Myanmar Visa in the pocket it is even more motivating to do also the rest of the work in the next days until we will hopefully get our Indian visa as well.

Tim and Lilly got meanwhile new tires, fresh brakes + fluids. after sleeping nearly 5 month the situation is even worse. Due to the fact that our cover over the bikes is nearly gone when we arrived, they look dusty as there was a sandstorm in Kathmandu. In addition to that mice or rats had a cozy time in our air filters, ate them and our wirings for breakfast. You are not welcome idiots! By the way: Where to get Yamaha XT600 air filter in Nepal?
So that ain’t enough points which we have to repair? Ok here is another big thing: Tim´s frame broke at 4 locations!!! These points mentioned above is only our ADDITIONAL WORK! )-: What a messed up start back in Nepal, but we are ready for our next challenge!

We knew that we have to repair a lot of things here. So we took a lot of spare parts back for them but
